When you purchase a new Ford vehicle, you join the Auto Club Lifestyle Membership and receive national roadside assistance for 12 months after each service for up to 7 years. Whether you’re 10 minutes from home or an hour into a road trip, the Ford Roadside program has you covered.
What are the benefits?
Available to all Ford customers, including retail, fleet and government customers.

If you experience a flat auxiliary battery or need a jump-start, we can provide it under your roadside cover. Plus, if your auxiliary battery fails within 12 months of battery purchase, we’ll replace it at no cost.

If you get caught with an empty tank, Roadside Assistance will provide a top up to help you get to the nearest re-fuelling facility1. Fuel cost may be at the owner’s expense.

In the case of a flat tyre, we’re here to pump them up. And if you have a spare, we can change your flat tyre on the spot. Or if necessary, we can organise a tow for you1.

Call 13 FORD for non-collision or non-insurance related breakdowns that have disabled your vehicle or made it unsafe to drive.

If your vehicle can’t be mobilised we’ll tow it to the nearest Ford Dealer1.

Where safe to do so, Roadside Assistance can help remove your bogged vehicle, as long as it’s accessible to a Patrol Service Vehicle1.

If your vehicle breaks down, a tow can be arranged for any caravan, trailer or horse floats attached to the vehicle1.

If your vehicle breaks down and cannot be repaired on the same day when more than 100km from home, accommodation, alternative transport and vehicle recovery are available to you1.

You’re covered for up to 12 months, each time you complete a scheduled service with a participating Ford Dealer, until your vehicle reaches 7 years of age.

Once we have received all necessary information, the process should take approximately 14 business days.

Either your Ford Dealer, or your State or Territory Auto Club can update your contact details for you.

Ford National Roadside Assistance applies nationwide, so you do not need to transfer your coverage if you move interstate.
